Founder/CEO

Leslie K. Wilkes

Author Leslie K. Wilkes was born in Compton, California, the youngest of his parent’s three children. Growing up in the roughest neighborhood in Compton, Wilkes managed to live past the age of twenty-six—at a time when most African American males didn’t—by outgrowing the “Myth of the Streets.” Despite his past he became a businessman from an early age, Wilkes has worked for the past thirty years starting a number of companies and is now the founder and CEO of 7 companies and co-founder of one. Helping communities he wreaked havoc in to lead healthier lives through education, mentoring and training.
