Founder/CEO

Leslie K. Wilkes

Author Leslie K. Wilkes was born in Compton, California, the youngest of his parent’s three children. Growing up in the roughest neighborhood in Compton, Wilkes managed to live past the age of twenty-six—at a time when most African American males didn’t—by outgrowing the “Myth of the Streets.” A businessman from an early age, Wilkes has worked for the past thirty + years with building various companies and is now the founder and CEO of WLL Enterprises, Inc., an organization that ensures our Youth and there families live a Safe and Healthy Lifestyle in underserved communities.
To ensure WLL Enterprises is as effective in dealing with our youth and their families, Wilkes became certified in Fitness & Nutrition and also Disaster Preparedness Training, Mentoring & Mental Health. Wilkes also decided to get his message directly to our Youth so now has 13 Children's books. These books are designed to bring awareness and educate our Youth.
